MD Group has boarded on its major project to date with an investment in a 13 600 sqm state of the art Business Campus.

The Tooling building was designed with latest Lean Methodologies and equipped with Cutting Edge Technology focused on Automotive Lighting.

The new facility will incorporate a 2 600 sqm office area allocating all Business Support Activities and a 11 000 sqm production area organized in two segments: small, medium and large.

This tooling structure will include an on-site injection tryout capabilities up to 1 700 ton, 4K. Furthermore, a 650 sqm heated area for Finishing Machining and an Optical Lab with Ultra-precision Machining will also be incorporated.

Throughout the years MD’s team has focused on the continuous education of environmental sustainability and the impact of today’s actions in the future. By installing a 800 000 kWh/Year photovoltaic system for self-consumption, MD Group will be able to create a more sustainable environment and consequently reduce its ecological footprint.
